Itinerary
Day 01: CUSCO – CACHORA – PLAYA ROSALINA
choquequirao trek 5 days. We will pick you up early from the hotel 06.00.am, transfer by bus to cachora where we will arrive at approximately 9:30 am, where we will enjoy breakfast, then continue to capuliyoc here we will meet our muleteers and horses, to organize our teams, we will begin our trek to a quiet area to reach Capuliyoc (2915 meters / 9,564 feet asl), where we will enjoy the beautiful views of the Apurimac canyon that stretches below the snow-capped peaks of Padreyoc and Wayna Cachora. Then we descend towards Chikisca (2,330 meters / 7,644 feet s.n.m), where the climate becomes noticeably warmer and the flora and fauna begin to change. Finally, we arrive at Rosalina Beach (1550 meters / 5,085 feet above sea level), right next to the Apurimac River where we camp, during the night.

Day 02: PLAYA ROSALINA – CHOQUEQUIRAO
The second day will be the most difficult of the walk. After an early breakfast, we will ascend a steep path. Our 5-hour walk will take us to Maranpata and control the Chunchulmayo River, from where we can observe the Inca city of choquequirao, where we will enjoy a rest and take pictures. On the way we will have the opportunity to see orchids, wild flowers and several different birds. We will arrive in time to enjoy the sunset and maybe even see a condor flying nearby, our camp will be on the outskirts of the Choquequirao complex.

Day 03: CHOQUEQUIRAO – MARANPATA
This day will be dedicated to exploring the amazing archaeological complex of Choquequirao. Our guide will explain the history and importance of the site, lunch in this place enjoying nature and then have free time to visit the various sectors of the archaeological complex. Late in the afternoon, we start walking back to Maranpata where we camp. Overnight.

Day 04: MARANPATA – CHIKISCA
After breakfast, we continue our journey, from a steep descent to the Apurimac River where we stop for lunch. And the afternoon, we will climb for approximately 4 hours to reach our camp cocamasana.pernocte.

the last day of our trip we will get up early, we will start the walk of 3 hours approximately until we arrive at capuliyoc, where we will have our breakfast and a well-deserved rest, here we will approach our mobility to be able to return to the city of cusco. On the return route we can visit the hot springs of Ccono. (Optional)
