Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – ABRA MALAGA – SANTA MARIA.

we leave Cusco at 07.a.m in our private vehicle; driving in the Sacred Valley, through Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo to reach the Abra de Málaga (4.350m). From there we will begin our journey,  bicycle to sta maria (downhill and cross-country). In this experience, we will see archaeological centers, like Huamanmarca and amazing scenery. We will be able to appreciate the birds of the tropics, as well as medicinal plants in the cloud forest. This trip also takes us to observe plantations of exotic fruit plantations such as mango, pineapple, papaya, avocado, coffee and coca plants. We can take samples and enjoy the different flavors. We can also see coca plantations and coffee and watch local families in their daily routine. We will have dinner in the city of Santa Maria near the river. Stay in tents or basic family accommodation

DAY 2: SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA.

6. am After breakfast, start walking along the banks of the Vilcanota River about 2 kms. From San Pablo, we start walking the famous Inca Trail in this way we can see variety of flora and fauna as well as a variety of native plants (coca) continuing along this path reach Quellomayo for lunch at a local restaurant and continue our way along the banks of the Urubamba River to reach the hot springs of Cocalmayo here we have time to relax and then continue to Santa Teresa for accommodation in the hostel, overnight and dinner.

DAY 3: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES.

This is the quietest day of the trip after breakfast we have many options for continuing to Aguas Calientes, the decision is yours the guide will explain about these options, the hike will take place along a road about 3 hours to get to hydro, in this place we have lunch and then walk for 3 hours to reach the village of Aguas Calientes, along the way you may observe the way the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu high in the mountains and variety of flora and fauna area, enjoying a flat and easy route. After breakfast at the hotel we trek 1. 30 hours uphill to reach the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and thus be the first show here in the passport control and immediately begin the tour to enjoy the city without many people and also to observe the sunrise after the tour you have free time to explore the city more and if you have the entrance ticket to Wayna Picchu can start the climb that will take 45min, to return to hot waters there 2 options the bus or walked back (optional) has time for lunch and then take the train back to the city, bus Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
