Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – ABRA MALAGA – SANTA MARIA.

We will leave the city of Cusco at 07:00 a.m., in our private vehicle; In the direction of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing through picturesque villages, Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo to reach the Abra de Málaga (4,350m). Here we will organize our equipment (bicycles and protective equipment), we will begin our journey, descending along a path of very beautiful landscapes. In this experience we will get to know the archaeological center of Huamanmarca and amazing tropical valleys. On this trip we will observe plantations of exotic fruits such as mango, pineapple, papaya, avocado, coffee and coca plants and we will be able to enjoy each one of them and their different flavors. we will observe local families in their daily routine. We will have dinner in the city of Santa Maria. Overnight in basic family accommodation.

DAY 2: SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA.

Nuestro segundo día será muy maravilloso, iniciaremos temprano la caminata por las orillas del río Vilcanota unos 02 kms, para llegar al pueblo de San Pablo, desde donde comenzaremos a caminar el famoso Camino Inca, aquí podremos observar una gran variedad de flora y fauna, así como plantas nativas (coca) continuando por este camino llegamos a Quellomayo para almorzar en un restaurante local, después del almuerzo continuamos nuestro recorrido por orillas del río Urubamba para llegar a las aguas termales de Cocalmayo aquí tenemos tiempo para relajarnos y luego continuar al pueblo de Santa Teresa para alojarnos en un albergue, pernocte y cena.

DAY 3: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES.

This is the quietest day of the trip, after breakfast we have many options to continue to Aguas Calientes, the decision is yours, the guide will explain these options, the walk will take about 3 hours along a path to reach the hydroelectric plant, In this place we will have lunch, and then continue for 03 more hours, along the side of the train line until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, on the way we will be able to observe the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu on the top of the mountain, and the variety of flora and fauna of the area, you will enjoy a flat and easy route. This is the end of the trek through the Inca jungle to Machu Picchu 4 days, overnight in a hostel with all the comforts, dinner.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO.

We will have breakfast at the hotel, here we will have 02 options to get to the Inca City of Machu Picchu, walk 01.30 hours uphill, and thus be the first to reach the control and the other option is to board the bus, which has a duration of 25 minutes (you decide), at the control you have to show the original passport for entry, inside the city we will have a tour without many people, to visit the main places of the Inca city, to be able to take photos without many people, this tour will last approximately 03 hours (access to waynapicchu according to availability and ticket purchase in advance) After the visit we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, here you will have time to have lunch and then board the train back to the city of Cusco.
