Itinerary

Day 01: Cusco – Cusipata – Rainbow Mountain.

Rainbow Mountain Trek. We pick you up at your hotel at 4.15 a.m. to 4.30 a.m., then start our incredible driving adventure, from 2.30 to 3.00 hrs approximately in our private van through the southern valley until we reach the town of Tintingo which is at 3,800 m., After a delicious breakfast, we continue our journey to the beginning of the trail called Killiwani (4,800 msnm). Along this road there are stunning views of agricultural terraces, canyons and snowy peaks.

Once you reach the beginning of the trail, our Guide will give you a brief introduction of the area, to finally begin a walk of approximately 1.30 hours along a road laid with a gradual climb of approximately 35 degrees, during the walk we will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of South American camelids, spectacular systems of this place and beautiful views of the snowy Ausangate. At 11.45 a.m. Approximately, we will arrive at our destination, the mountain of colors that is at 5000 msnm. Here you will have ample time to enjoy this landscape.

After we visit the mountain of colors, we will return to the place where our transport is located, approximately 1.30 hours, then return to Tintingo where our lunch awaits us. After lunch and a short break, we start the return trip to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5.30 p.m. to finish our Rainbow Mountain Trek.
