The most important thing to visit on your trip to Peru or South America is Machu Picchu, a place which was discovered in 1911 after being abandoned for centuries. We left early from the city of Cusco to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we boarded the train, bound for the village of Aguas Calientes, in the way we will observe the variety of the Andean landscape and the high jungle. Its tour is to enjoy the sights of the Inca city and around the town of Aguas Calientes, relax in its hot springs and have a good lunch at a local restaurant. Enjoy Machu Picchu overnight 2d/1n.

Itinerary: Machu Picchu Overnight
Day 01 – CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO- AGUAS CALIENTES.
Machu Picchu Overnight Tour, In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station (Ollantaytambo, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Cusco). There, you will board a train and travel for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, enjoying spectacular changing landscapes as you pass through lush countryside and colorful villages in the foothills of the Andes.
The highlight of this trip is the wonderful views of the mountains and the magnificent Urubamba River that runs through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Finally, you will arrive in Aguas Calientes, a town just below Machu Picchu, where our representative will meet you at the train station to escort you to your hotel. You will settle into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to visit the hot springs and the enchanting surroundings of Aguas Calientes.

Day 02. – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO.
The next day, after breakfast, you will board a bus that will take you to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, following a zigzag path for about 30 minutes. Once at Machu Picchu, your tour guide will introduce you to the most important attractions of this ancient Inca site: the Guardian’s House, the agricultural terraces, the main plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Royal House, and the Temple of the Three Windows. This guided tour lasts approximately 3 hours, and you will then have some short free time to rest and take incredible panoramic photos of Machu Picchu.
Don’t forget your camera and enjoy visiting “One of the Seven Wonders of the World”! When you have enjoyed the site, you will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch (not included in the package) in one of the many charming restaurants offering traditional Andean and international cuisine. In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting for us in front of the train station to transfer us to Cusco. Finish our Machu Picchu Overnight Tour.
