What is the best time to hike the Ancascocha Trek?
The best months are during the dry season from April to October, when weather conditions are generally more stable and mountain views are at their best.

The trek is best suited for teenagers and adults with strong fitness levels. Due to the altitude and difficulty, it may not be appropriate for younger children.
How many hours do we hike each day?
Daily hiking times generally range from 6 to 9 hours, depending on the itinerary, pace of the group, and weather conditions.
How far in advance should I book?
Booking at least 3–6 months in advance is recommended, especially during the peak trekking season, to secure Machu Picchu tickets, train reservations, and preferred departure dates.
