The walk offers all the guarantees of security since we will be at a height of 5000 meters – probably experiencing altitude problems is normal, for this reason the company recommends doing sports activity prior to your trip. or before arriving in the city of Cusco. The red sandstone mountains in the Vinicunca area will probably be the best you will see in Peru.

It is an impressive trek in the Andean mountain range (chain of the Vilcanota) mountain route of colors that is very close to a very important mountain for the Andean people, APU AUSANGATE (6,377 masl) this Apu, carrier of Life is the guardian of one of the most beautiful ecosystems in the world. Thus, our walk will be accompanied by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, flocks of alpacas, llamas. This hike offers a selection of wildlife and impressive landscapes.

Itinerary

Day 01: Cusco – Cusipata – Rainbow Mountain.

We pick you up at your hotel at 4.15 a.m. to 4.30 a.m., then start our incredible driving adventure, from 2.30 to 3.00 hrs approximately in our private van through the southern valley until we reach the town of Tintingo which is at 3,800 m., Where we will enjoy After a delicious breakfast, we continue our journey to the beginning of the trail called Killiwani (4,800.msnm). Along this road there are stunning views of agricultural terraces, canyons and snowy peaks.

Once you reach the beginning of the trail, our Guide will give you a brief introduction of the area, to finally begin a walk of approximately 1.30 hours along a road laid with a gradual climb of approximately 35 degrees, during the walk we will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of South American camelids, spectacular systems of this place and beautiful views of the snowy Ausangate.

At 11.45.am. Approximately we will arrive at our destination the mountain of colors that is at 5000.msnm. Here you will have ample time to enjoy this landscape.

After our visit to the mountain of colors we will return to the place where our transport is located approximately 1.30 hours, then return to tintingo where our lunch awaits us. After lunch and a short break we start the return trip to the city of Cusco arriving at approximately 5.30 p.m.
